For 2022, the Liv re-engineered the Langma to be lighter, stiffer, and more aerodynamic – all with integrated disc brakes. BikeRadar took note, naming the Langma Advanced Disc 1+ the best women’s bike of the year.

After testing 47 of the best road, gravel, and mountain bikes of 2022, BikeRadar unveiled their Bike of the Year awards in early May. Taking the grand prize in the women’s road bike category was the Langma Advanced Disc 1+, praised for being, “a do-it-all race bike for a great price.”

The Langma Advanced Disc is just one of the several Langma models offered, including the top-of-the-line Langma Advanced SL Disc – ridden by Liv’s WorldTour teams Liv Racing Xstra and Team BikeExchange-Jayco – was also reviewed by BikeRadar.

The Langma Advanced Disc 1+ features the same aerodynamic tube shaping and geometry as the race-proven top-end model, with more affordable components.

“For me, the Langma offers the perfect balance of speed and comfort,” said reviewer Katherine Moore, “allowing you to challenge yourself on faster-paced group rides or go for a hill-climb PR without putting your back out or feeling excessively stiff.”
