Team Jayco AlUla athlete Kristen Faulkner took home third place Saturday at the Strade Bianche, Italy. Despite a crash early on, Faulkner broke out in front until the final leg of the race.

The iconic one-day classic set the stage for an exciting race where Faulkner showcased her strength and pure determination that landed her a well-deserved podium spot. This year's edition ventured over 136 km and included eight sections of gravel roads totaling 31 km; riders displayed their abilities to strategically sprint, climb and manage rough roads.

Following a crash in stage four, Faulkner regained her position in the peloton and attacked out front with only 32 km to go as the solo leader. The Team Jayco AlUla ultimately could not hold the lead and was passed in the final stage before Siena’s main piazza, crossing the finish line in a stellar third place on her Liv Langma Advanced SL Disc.
