Jenn Jackson of Liv Factory racing takes home second place in the XCC and dominates the XCO, claiming the Canadian National Champion title with an astonishing 6-minute lead.

Jenn Jackson pulled out all the stops to dominate in the Cross-country Olympic Elite Women's in Nova Scotia, Canada this past weekend and claimed the title of Canadian National XCO Champion. Crossing the finish line on her Pique Advanced Pro 29, with an impressive 6:31 minute lead ahead of Haley Smith in second place and Sandra Walter of Liv Cycling Canada, third, the largest margin win in her Elite category career so far.

The wet slippery conditions did not seem to hinder the Liv Factory Racing athlete "It’s a natural rooty course, and out back the conditions were really greasy and slick. I was able to ride the start climb comfortably and slip into the singletrack second wheel, then make the pass on the early technical sections and roll my own pace from there. Even with the unpredictable conditions, I’m really happy to have a clean race and committed effort that brought home the win for the team."

Earlier in the week, Jackson podiumed in second place in the Cross-country Short Track XCC, she used her skill and determination to push for a stronger finish in the following XCO. "After coming up just short of the win in Short Track on Thursday, I knew I had the strength to be at the front of the race but needed to be calm and not rush to be there. I am really happy to be the National Champion!"
