MONDAY, MARCH 21, 2022 Michael Matthews scored his first win of the year for Team BikeExchange-Jayco, sprinting to victory on the opening stage of the Volta a Catalunya stage race in Spain. With the win, Matthews took over the leader’s jersey in the weeklong stage race that kicked off with a circuit race in Sant Feliu de Guixols.
